With a Canadian National Enduro Title and 3rd place finish at the Enduro World Championships in 2025, Elliot Jamieson has had quite the season. The local legend from British Columbia has been putting in hours on the bike, and it shows. As one of the nicest guys around, we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him to the Race Face family for 2026 and beyond!
Ahead of his new program announcement and busy season, we caught up with Elliot to chat about his setup and what he is looking forward to this coming season.

Moving to Specialized on your own program is a big shift from years past. What are you looking forward to the most and what made you make the change?
As soon as the opportunity presented itself to join Specialized, I was all in. I have always admired their approach and dedication to racing, and I am super excited to build speed on the new bikes.
You placed 3rd at World Champs in 2025 (congrats again)! What are your big goals for the 2026 season? Any non-racing goals as well?
Thank you! My biggest goals are to compete at the top every weekend and continually find new ways to improve. I have my eyes set on the World Championships, as well as defending my national title. I am hyped to work with Lazy Sundays Studios to share the journey and battles this season. Off the bike, I am stoked to enter the final year of my business degree!
The world of enduro racing has changed a lot in recent years. What aspects of the sport keep you excited and motivated to push yourself both locally and internationally?
I believe that enduro is the purest form of mountain bike racing and the best overall representation of speed, skill, and fitness. The changes in enduro over the past few years lean into exactly what brought me into the sport: big days of pedaling, new tracks, and more self-sufficiency. Every day I find new ways to improve, and this quest drives me to reach my potential and goals.

- New Year, New Team, New Bike. Same Elliot.
What bike will you be racing over the season?
Specialized Stumpjumper 15 EVO, S4
What’s your go-to cockpit setup?
In the past I’ve been an alloy bar guy, but this winter I have been putting Race Face’s carbon Era bar through its paces and loving it! I’m on the 40mm rise option, 760mm width, rolled slightly forward, strapped to a 40mm stem.

-Elliot’s bar of choice, a 40mm rise ERA bar cut down to 760mm.
Suspension setup, what have you landed on?
In contrast to many racers, I tend to favor a soft suspension setup, as I find I can conserve energy and avoid fatigue over massive days of racing. I’ve been running through a ton of testing over the off season and working with the new team to dial in the perfect feeling on the new bike.

- The testing rig. Elliot has been spending all his days trying out different setups to find the smoothest and fastest rides.
How often do you ride?
Usually 4-5 days a week – a big pedal, DH laps, or a rip on the gravel bike; I am keen on it all!
What type of riding do you find yourself doing the most?
Seymour pedal laps on the Stumpy is the go-to.
What is your favorite local lap?
Top-to-bottoms of Seymour are always the best. Of course, a couple off-map trails...
Worst mechanical to happen mid-ride?
Seat falling off. I’ve seen this at a few DH races, catastrophic.
Favourite song right now?
Taylor – Jack Johnson
Solo ride or group ride?
Group ride with a crew, the bigger the better.
Do you stretch or just say you will?
Pidgeon pose is the one.

- Welcome to the team Elliot – Excited for what’s to come!
