I'm happy that Race Face is making these steel chainrings for their cinch cranks. It was great to be able to upgrade to a 1x12 drivetrain without having to buy a new crank set.

works as advertised with Shimano 12s.
slightly quieter than 11s version. Chain retention seems similar.

alternate chainlines by flipping the ring is not possible unlike other raceface/easton chainrings because the backside flairs out and contacts the crankarm.

There is no other offer at this price point. It's a shame that there is no 28T option available, this size is a must for 1x medium cage mechs that pair with a 10-45 cassette

This is a super good option if you do not want to spend that much. I had this chainring in my last downhill bike, it was super durable and i trusted everything on it. Perfect option and awesome pricing!
