I bought a set of these wheels for my 150mm-travel bike about three years ago and they have held up impressively well so far. My favorite local trails consist of fairly harsh rocky sections, a variety drops to flat landings (about 6ft is the largest one), and some jumps up to about maybe 30ft or so; I also take trips to the bike parks here in Colorado a few times a year. This wheelset has taken everything I have thrown at it so far, and what impresses me the most is that I haven't had to even tighten the spokes yet! The high engagement hub is lovely and I can't go back to lower engagement hubs now. Plus, the hubs look really cool; I've never received compliments on how my hubs looked before these. The only downside is the fact that alloy wheels show rock chips easy, but that's any alloy wheel set, not just these. The combination of durability, weight, and price make it an easy recommendation.

First 100 miles on Orbea Rise with Turbine R 30 wheels, broken spoke on rear wheel - heard it pop and it was gone (assuming it broke at threads and nipple is inside the rim).
Hope to find replacement, then have both wheels checked for tension/true and try another 100 miles, hopefully without further problems.
I think the sum of the parts is diminished by the quality of the assembly. I see no reason for this failure if the wheels were properly built - perhaps a production problem?
Keeping an eye open for extra set of backup wheels...

9 month ago I bought my new bike with that wheelset mounted. Now the first spoke is broken without any unusual impact.
I am afraid the other spokes will break as well one after the other, since they are all very fragile.
I would not recommend this wheelset for bikers over 90 kg.

I bought an Orbea Rise M10 with these rims and a Vault hub. After 8mths and limited rides I was getting a loud pinging noise from the rear hub. On inspection I found that the teeth on the Vault hub were rounded along with the pawls. Clearly the hub is not fit for purpose on an ebike. I have now purchased DT Swiss who actually make ebike compatible wheels at £450.
In conclusion Race Face components are far from compatible with the loads required on ebikes.
